Castaway’s Marina at The Square Grouper Jupiter Inlet Florida
The Square Grouper Tiki Bar and Castaways Marina has grown to become one of the most popular watering holes in the United States if not the world. It is the home of Alan Jackson’s, “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” video with Jimmy Buffet and just released video “Long, Long Way To Go”, The marina hosts several local fishing tournaments, including Grand Slam/Castaways KDW, Jupiter Billfish Fish Tournament and the Blue Water Babes Tournament.
The Square Grouper also hosts numerous fundraisers each year, benefitting local non-profit and charitable organizations. Live music can be heard six days a week, from fantastic local bands and some of the music industry’s most famous artists.
A little piece of paradise, with wide-water views of the Jupiter Inlet and its famous lighthouse, this local landmark boasts the 19-slip Castaways Marina and stunning scenery.
- The client asked and we delivered an entire fuel facility was installed within a 20day period with no interruption of the everyday business!.
Temporary Sheet piling of the excavation and a well point dewatering system was installed in the existing parking lot which would be the location of the new storage tank. The fuel facility consists of a total of one (1) Modern Welding Glasteel II double wall 12,000 split compartment 8,000 Diesel /4000 Gasoline underground storage tank.
The diesel fuel delivery system consists of one (1) Fe Petro 4hp 3 phase submersible pump. Innovative Petroleum Products Petroplas 3” double wall electro fusion piping was installed upland. Piping was terminated upland within a Bravo fiberglass transition sump with ball valves and M Carder breakaway valves. Over the water 2” double wall Petrolpas Marina UV fire resistant piping was installed.
The High speed diesel delivery system consists of one (1) PMC-FH-720 with 1.5” internal hose reel delivery system. Mega Yachts and Sport fishing boats will be able to fuel at + 60-80 gpm while berthed at the concrete floating fuel dock parallel to the intracostal waterway.
The mid-grade gasoline fuel delivery system consists of one (1) Fe Petro 4hp 3 phase submersible pump. Innovative Petroleum Products Petroplas 2” double wall electro fusion piping was installed upland. Piping was terminated upland within a Bravo fiberglass transition sump with ball valves and M Carder breakaway valves. Over the water 2” double wall Petrolpas Marina UV fire resistant piping was installed. The gasoline delivery system consists of one (1) PMC-FH-510 with 1.0” internal hose reel delivery system. All hoses and nozzles are color coded to enhance the system. Tenders and Center Console Sport fishing boats will be able to fuel at + 15-20 gpm while berthed at the concrete floating fuel dock parallel to the intracostal waterway.
All piping, dispenser, and piping sumps will be monitored by a Omntec Compliance Monitor system with the capability of remote.
