The
Harborage Marina, is located in beautiful
Stuart, Florida which lays claim to the title
"Sailfish Capital of the World".
The
Harborage Marina’s strategic location
on the Okeechobee Waterway (Florida’s
Intracoastal Waterway) provides a great place
to rest and reenergize whether you’re
heading East or West across Florida. Our location
also provides you with quick access to great
fishing just off shore in the Atlantic or
to the inland waters.
When
the project was bid to numerous local contractors,
Petroleum Marine, LLC was the only contractor
to meet the strict guidelines set forth by
the development company. Longshoreman’s
Insurance was a requirement for all bidders,
only Petroleum Marine Consultants, LLC met
this guideline, this is a standard endorsement
in our insurance package for we specialize
in marina work, this is not a requirement
in the petroleum industry.
As
the only contractor that specializes in marina
fuel facilities the requirement for a marine
dispenser’s fully stainless steel were
the meet. Like the insurance requirements,
being the largest distributor of PMC dispensers
eliminated all your petroleum contractors,
and opened the door for the only marine fuel
facility contractor whom specifies PMC dispensers
on every project. Price was also an important
issue, and as the budget was met and the project
commenced the client found that dealing with
a small contractor, with our experience and
knowledge in this specialized field, alleviated
at least one worry for the client during this
large project.
The
installation of one (1) 12,000 diesel and
one (1) 12,000 gallon gasoline Eultron double
wall storage tank system with factory installed
fiberglass collars and fiberglass piping sumps
on each tank, provides an abundance of storage
while meeting all environmental concerns.
FePetro 4hp 3-phase submersible pumps are
installed in each fuel storage tank with mechanical
leak detectors. 2000 ft Ameron 3” MCX
double wall product piping is installed from
the diesel storage tank to two (2) PMC SF-46/47
dual hose dual product dispensers.
The
two (2) dual hose single product dispensers
are located at the end of the fixed pier within
200ft of the dock masters office. Two diesel
fuel positions offer 35 gpm, and two gasoline
fueling positions with + 15 gpm, the dispensers
have 100 ft 1” hoses with stainless
steel spring rewind Hannay reels. Fueling
will be controlled by a MPC-8H-25 authorization
console installed within the dock masters
office. Environmental compliance, inventory
control, and fuel system monitoring will be
achieved thru the use of a Pneumercator TMS
3000 tank management system.
