This
prestigious private club features a protected
harbor with 100 slips with all amenities and
the Commodore Ed Willman Sailing Center for
Youth and Adult Sailing Activities.
Key
Biscayne Yacht Club bid this state mandated
project.
Petroleum Marine Consultants, LLC. was contracted by the
owner, not as the low bidder, but most responsive
to the clients needs.
The existing fuel facility including tanks,
product piping, and dispensers, will be replaced
with state of the art equipment to that will
exceed all regulatory requirements:
Two (2) 10,000 UST’s will be removed
and properly disposed of, and a closure report
will be submitted. Two (2) 10,000 Eutron double
wall underground storage tank will be installed
using concrete dead man anchoring system.
Fe Petro submersible pumps will provide the
necessary psi to enable the owner to obtain
his requested gpm. Ameron MCX double wall
fiberglass UV protected product piping will
be installed as the carrier piping for fuel.
A Pneumercator TMS-3000 compliance monitor
system was chosen for tank gauging, sump sensor,
and interstitial monitoring. As with all marine
projects, PMC Super flow Marine dispensers
will be installed.
When the client met with our design staff,
the client communicated to us what his goals
for his new system would be, and we listened.
The client has a state of the art facility
that exceeded expectations that is within
his budget.
