Make sure that your plans to stay in Florida include a visit to the new Palm Harbor Marina

Fuel storage is accomplished by the installation of a 20,000 gallon split compartment (5,000 gasoline / 15,000 diesel) Glasteel II underground storage tank.  Temporary sheet piling and a wellpoint dewatering was installed during tank excavation due to the high water table with the installations proximity to the intercostals waterway.

The anchoring of the underground storage tank was achieved by the use of deadman concrete anchors, with stainless steel wire rope, stainless steel cable clamps, and stainless steel turnbuckles. Imported 3/8” pea rock backfill was used to obtain a stable and self compacting tank installation. A 1ft thick reinforced concrete slab is installed on grade.
