The
marina layout offers 16,000 linear feet of
total berthing capacity and incorporates two
distinct marina components: one targeted to
Megayacht demand, and the other to traditional
marina tenants. The Megayacht basin provides
flexibility for varying characteristics, including
24 dedicated slips between 80 and100 feet,
docks that permit alongside-berthing of vessels
of varying lengths (up to 250 feet), enhanced
site security, in-slip fueling and Pump out
service, high-capacity electrical supply,
and segregated docking facilities to provide
owners and guests with the level of exclusivity
they demand
Provide Engineered drawings with detail for
client review including job costing.
Design a state of the art fuel delivery system
to meet clients site specific +100 GPM requirements.
Provide flow calculations at designated fueling
points on new fuel dock and for in slip fueling.
Provide a detailed proposal including all
costs affiliated with the fuel facility for
this project. Drawings were revised by Texaco
to meet their specifications and new site
specific concerns. Hired by the owners reprehensive
to perform on-site consultation for the over
seeing of Texaco’s complete fuel facility
installation.
Project consists of the installation of five(5)
12,000 gallon double wall storage tanks for
diesel and one (1) 10,000 gallon double wall
storage tank for gasoline.
The standard speed delivery system has been
designed for three (3) public fueling positions
along the main dock The High speed delivery
system consists of a fueling position for
every slip. Sixteen in slip fuel positions
will enable all Mega Yachts to fuel while
berthed. A custom stainless steel fuel wagon
w/ 3” intake hose will be connected
at the fueling location closest to the vessel.
The connection is to be made to the 3”
Kamvalok coupler located within the fiberglass
sumps under the dock decking. The fuel wagon
will consist of 100 ft of lightweight 2”
discharge hose an LC meter and an additional
hose reel of 2” x 100 ft hose will be
available as required. Operation will be run
from a hand held on/off switch which will
act in conjunction with all installed E-stops.
Delivery
system consists of (5) five 5hp Fe Petro submersible
pumps with the a piping manifold for all diesel
fueling, Fuel delivery piping +2500 ft of
NUPI 4" and 3" for diesel and +1000 ft of
3" NUPI for gasoline. All piping will be installed
through 6" pvc sleeves located within each
pile cap. All piping, dispenser, and piping
sumps will be monitored by a Veeder-root system
with the capability of remote readout.
